Mayoral Challenge
Event: Bike the Trail

Location: Hutt River Trail
What's happening: Bring your friends and family and enjoy an easy, flat scenic bike ride down the Hutt River Trail to Hikoikoi Reserve, Petone. Try the 2 1/2 hour ride covering 25km from Harcourt Park in Upper Hutt or the 1 hour 12km ride starting from Eastern Hutt Road in Stokes Valley.
The ride will be followed by a BBQ at Hikoikoi Reserve with live music, giveaways and fun for the whole family including a trial riding display by some of the best technical and trick riders in New Zealand.
Free return trnasport is available for you and your bike from 11am - 1pm.
Be in to win great spot prizes including some brand new Avanti Bikes courtesy of the team at Avanti Plus Lower Hutt.

What's happening: NZ Army/Defence staff and personell (hoping for 100-150 riders) will ride to Trentham Camp, then as a group ride up to U/Hut CC's GBBD event for photo op. Ride back to Camp for after event speeches, spot prizes & (hopefully) light breakfast.

What's happening: Pedal To The Picnic and The Wheely Good Riverbank Ride which doubles as Kapiti's Mayoral Challenge.
Come to Otaihanga Domain. Mayoral ride starts at 6pm . Other activities from 4.30pm onwards. Play on the skills courses, tjumps amps and see saws, try to ride a unicycle, fun games on bikes prizes and giveaways. Kids decorate your bike Bring your picnic tea. Remember the lights for going home.

What's happening: Otaki Pedal to the Picnic and the Ride round the historic parts of Otaki. This is an official Go By bike event
decorated bike competition.
Bring your family to Haruatai park with a picnic tea and be part of the Otaki Pedal to the Picnic
4.30pm: Skills course with jumps and seesaws etc. Frisbee soccer on your bike. Various other activities Free entry to the pool for children.
5pm: Decorated bikes
5.30pm: Frocks on Bikes and Cycle in your Suit competition
6pm: The Round the historic parts of Otaki. Ride 6.30pm onwards: eat your picnic in the park and continue with the skills course and free entry to the pool for children

What's happening: bring a Picnic to paekakariki Pedal to the Picnic for fun on the skills course with jumps ramps and seesaws plus other activities eg cycle soccer, balance activities, post the parcel, waiter races and opportunity to see and try unicycling.
