Register as a Bike Wise Challenge coordinator

Register your organisation to take part in the Bike Wise Challenge - sign-up via the website and encourage your work mates or members of your organisationto do the same.

The first person within an organisation to register as a participant, is automatically designated as the 'coordinator' for that organisation. (Coordinator status may be transferred to someone else in the organisation when others have signed-up.)

Coordinator Kits

All Bike Wise Challenge coordinators will receive a coordinator’s kit containing the following promotional resources:

  • 2 Bike Wise Month posters
  • 1 Go By Bike Day poster
  • 5 Bike Wise Challenge posters

Merchandise

You can also order extra resources from us. We sell all our merchandise at cost with the aim of providing good quality, useful resources to people at the lowest price possible.

If you would like to purchase anything we encourage you to do soon as we want to ensure we get it to you on time for your events.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

  • National category winners: 
    1 prize for the winning organisation and 1 prize for the winning department (within organisations) in each of the 5 size categories of a framed certificate and voucher for a scumptious morning tea shout (total 10 prizes).
  • Regional winners:
    The winning organisations and departments in each region will receive a framed certificate as well as bragging rights to the most cycle-friendly organisation in the area!
  • Participant spot prizes
    All participants will go into a draw to win of three Avanti Bikes, plus there will be daily spot prizes of Avanti and Ground Effect vouchers, and double movie passes for the top encouragers (people who get the highest number of their friends, family, colleagues to try cycling).

Avanti are once again the main sponsor of Bike Wise Month and the Bike Wise Challenge. To show our appreciation of the sponsor’s support and to help gain their support in future years we encourage you to include these logos on any marketing material you use, eg. posters, fliers, adverts, web pages etc.

Bike Wise logo

There is a Bike Wise logo available for use, supported by guidelines to assist you. Placement is not mandatory, however, it provides consistent brand awareness for the Bike Wise Programme at a local and national level. We welcome the use of the logos on all promotional material relating to Bike Wise supported activity.

  • Registrations open.

January 2010 onwards

  • Posters distributed to coordinators who have registered.

1 February - 28 February 2010

  • Bike Wise Challenge takes place.
  • Daily draw winners announced.

  • Winners announced and prizes distributed.
