There is such a thing as a free lunch…
One lucky (or dedicated) team in the Hawkes Bay will be lapping it up at a fabulous restaurant in the Hawke’s Bay at the end of Bike Wise Month.
Hawke's Bay organisations registered for the 2012 Bike Wise Challenge will go in to the draw to win a free lunch including a main meal, dessert and beverage at the Clearview Winery. The main condition of the competition is that the winning team MUST cycle along the new path to Clearview to collect their prize!
Each team needs to consist of five people and each person must log at least five bike rides by the end of February to be in to win. The idea is to get more people on their bikes – by either commuting to work or just for fun. There is no need for lycra!
So go to the Bike Wise Challenge page and sign up for the Challenge. Remember cycling is a perfect way to get fit, get some fresh air and save money.
The fine print
1. Organisations must be based in the Hastings/Flaxmere/Havelock North area. If your organisation has other offices outside this area, they’re very welcome to join in but unfortunately people working in these offices won’t be eligible for the prize.
2. The prize is for a maximum team size of 20, who should all be part of the participating organisation
3. The prize will be awarded at the start of March and should be taken within 3 months of award.
4. An organisation should only be registered once on the BikeWise website. If you want to create more than one team, register as different departments within the same organisation and then decide how you will allocate the prize yourselves!
5. Organisations should have one coordinator for the BikeWise Challenge (although can have several different departments as above)
6. Members of the winning team need to be over 16 to be eligible for the prize
7. Organisations must notify the iWay team of their participation at info@iway.org.nz before February 6th to be entered into the draw.
